Testa Barra

The visual identity for Testa Barra was built around authentic storytelling rather than trends. Audience insights, the restaurant's family legacy, and the head chef’s unique background as both an award-winning pizza maker and lifelong skateboarder informed a creative direction that shaped everything from composition and lighting to color grading, editing, and content planning.

A Very Testa Barra Summer

For Testa Barra’s Summer 2026 SK8 or Pie pop-up, we revived a concept last used seven years earlier with a new creative direction. Millennial-heavy audience research inspired a nostalgic, cinematic campaign influenced by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, skate culture and retro video games. Following Chef Mike through a summer day, the story always ends in the same place: Thursday night on the Testa Barra patio.

Getting to the Good Part

A social-first series built around the process behind Testa Barra. Tight framing and action-driven shots capture ingredients being cut, dishes coming together and wine being poured, trading polished final plates for a closer look at the making. The approach brings a more intimate, lived-in energy to the brand while keeping Testa Barra elevated.

In Pizza We Trust

Pizza is a cornerstone of Testa Barra’s menu and social identity. Following Chef Mike’s third-place finish at the 2026 International Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas, this social-first piece puts a crowd favorite center stage through an artful mix of movement, texture and close-up detail.

Drinking on the Job

A work trip to New Orleans, technically. Testa Barra’s beverage team headed to Tales of the Cocktail to drink, learn and bring a few new ideas home. I built the recap around their own footage and post-trip interviews, giving the audience the fun of the trip while subtly showing just how seriously this team takes what ends up in your glass.
