[. PROFILE ]

Currently, I work as a Social Media Manager, but my days rarely look like what most people imagine when they hear that title. They usually involve leading creative strategy, developing campaign concepts, building shot lists, art directing creative assets, directing and capturing content on set, or collaborating with photographers, videographers, editors, designers, and copywriters.

What interests me most isn't content for content's sake. I spend a lot of time thinking about attention: what earns it, what keeps it, and what makes something memorable long after you've seen it.

To me, creative work is a way to connect people, spark impact, and turn brands into conversations. The work I admire most knows what it wants to say and isn't afraid to say it.

Before moving into content and creative work full-time, I worked as a Case Planner at Alternatives For Girls, supporting youth and families through school-based programs and helping connect them with resources and support. I also volunteer with Friends of Detroit Animal Care & Control, assisting with social media efforts that promote adoption, fostering, events, and community engagement.

Outside of work, my interests tend to wander. I'll take a trip down a rabbit hole just to see where it will lead. Sometimes that's psychology, history, or internet culture. Other times it’s a random question that sends me twenty tabs deep at midnight. As someone whose job it is to be chronically online, I like to think of it as "research."

Away from the screen, you can find me spending time with my pets or sipping a good chai latte.
