DOGS
This collection brings together photography, video, and storytelling created in support of animal rescue organizations, with the goal of helping adoptable dogs stand out, documenting rescue journeys, and using visual storytelling to inspire action.
(01) Kepi’s Day Out
One afternoon outside can completely change how a shelter dog is seen.
This photo series followed Kepi on a Dogventure, a volunteer program that gives shelter dogs a break from kennel life.
Photographing Kepi in a natural setting allowed me to capture images that highlighted her personality and gave the shelter high-quality photos to help showcase her to prospective adopters.

Walking the Dequidre cut.
Strolling the riverwalk.
Kepi and a volunteer rest for a minute on the bench.
(02) Frida’s Story
A social-first documentary capturing the journey of a stray dog found pregnant on the streets of Detroit.
In partnership with Rebel Dogs Detroit, I fostered Frida and her ten puppies, documenting their rescue, foster journey, and path to adoption through short-form video.
SCOPE: concept, copywriting, filming, editing
(03) Fetch Magazine
Fetch started as a volunteer experiment: what if an adoptable dog was marketed more like a cover star than a shelter listing? I built the fictional magazine around Splamantha, using the current Y2K revival as a visual hook and letting her name and personality push the design foward.
But the cover lines weren’t filler. “Noses In, Noses Out” addresses shelter transparency, “The Fine Print” tackles what happens after a “no pets allowed” rental, “Beyond Adoption” expands the conversation to fostering, volunteering and advocacy, and “Running in Circles” points directly at overpopulation. Each was written as the seed of a real carousel, blog post, or future social series.
SCOPE: concept, creative direction, copywriting, design + content strategy
A personality-first adoption reel created from volunteer footage.
(04) Chasing Bubbles
After seeing Chasing Bubbles' nonstop zoomies and playful energy, I built the edit around a lighthearted summer aesthetic, pairing a trending visual style with music that felt as joyful as he was.
SCOPE: concept, creative direction, copywriting, design + content strategy
(05) The Artist Series
Jackson
Frida and her puppies were named after artists, which became the starting point for their adoption photo series. Art direction for the shoot was built around that idea, creating a paint-splattered set with a hand-painted backdrop, paw-print artwork, brushes, crates and other studio details.
